Job summary

WSP is seeking an Engineer/Senior Engineer – E&P – Fixed Plant to lead and support rail engineering projects across the UK and internationally. You will guide design development, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and provide technical advisory services to clients and internal stakeholders.

The role emphasizes delivering projects on time and within budget, mentoring early career professionals, and potentially undertaking CRE responsibilities within NR/L2/INI/02009 contexts.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivery across multiple areas of railway fixed plant design and project delivery.
• Ability to manage full lifecycle from feasibility to detailed design and implementation.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and resolving complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead Fixed Plant work within multi-disciplinary teams across rail projects.
• Coordinate development of Fixed Plant designs through all design stages.
• Provide technical guidance to internal teams and clients.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships to achieve project outcomes.
• Mentor and support Early Career Professionals and possibly undertake CRE roles.
• Understand and apply client engineering assurance processes.
