Job summary

WSP's Rail Engineering Services team seeks an enthusiastic Engineer/Senior Engineer – E&P – Fixed Plant to lead and support delivery on diverse rail projects across the UK and internationally. You will oversee Fixed Plant design across all stages and provide technical guidance to internal teams and clients.

You will manage client relationships, mentor Early Career Professionals, and may undertake CRE roles as required, all within a flexible, hybrid work environment that promotes inclusion and

Qualifications

• Experience delivering across full project lifecycle from feasibility to implementation.
• Ability to challenge outputs and deliverables with technical rigor.
• Experience mentoring and developing staff.
• Experience undertaking CRE roles or capability to do so.
• Understanding client engineering assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead Fixed Plant aspects within multi-disciplinary teams across projects.
• Oversee development of Fixed Plant designs through all design lifecycle stages.
• Provide technical advice to internal disciplines and clients.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships to achieve outcomes.
• Potential to undertake CRE roles in line with NR/L2/INI/02009.
• Mentor Early Career Professionals and guide junior staff.
