Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior/Principal E&P (Fixed Plant) Engineer to join the Rail Engineering Services team in Birmingham. In this role, you will lead the Fixed Plant aspects of rail engineering projects, ensuring designs meet industry standards while managing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical engineering, project management, and mentoring early career professionals. Qualifications

• Experience in delivery of fixed plant design and development.
• Full project lifecycle experience, from feasibility to implementation.
• Understanding of industry standards, particularly BS 7671.

Responsibilities

• Lead Fixed Plant design within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Oversee development of Fixed Plant designs across all stages.
• Provide technical advice and support on projects.
