Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an electrical design engineer to develop and deliver electrical designs for rail station projects, working within a multidisciplinary team to meet client requirements. You will engage in design coordination, liaise with Clients such as Network Rail, TfL and LUL, and ensure compliance with 230/400V distribution and building services (power, lighting, fire, intruder).

Qualifications

• Experience of the Design of electrical systems.
• Experience of Electrical Design on Rail Stations.
• 230/400V power distribution (single and 3phase).
• Electrical building services (power/lighting/fire/intruder).

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering the electrical designs for smaller station rail projects as they arise.
• Working within a multidisciplinary team producing technically compliant designs to Clients requirements.
• Engage in design coordination processes with Clients and internal teams; liaise with main contractors when required.
