Arup is seeking an experienced Senior Rail Design Manager to lead the coordination, integration and assurance of multidisciplinary design services across a portfolio of complex rail projects in the UK. You will act as a Contractor's Engineering Manager (CEM) or equivalent, establishing engineering management and assurance approaches while delivering design from feasibility through to construction support.

You will drive technical excellence, foster collaboration with clients and delivery

Qualifications

• Lead multidisciplinary rail design delivery across feasibility to detailed design.
• Experience as CEM-D or equivalent on rail projects with governance and assurance.
• Chartered status and professional membership with ICE/IET/CIHT.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management with client relationships.

Responsabilités

• Lead coordination, integration and assurance of multidisciplinary design services across a portfolio of complex rail projects.
• Establish and implement engineering management and assurance approaches as a Contractor's Engineering Manager (CEM) or equivalent.
• Lead design delivery from feasibility to construction support, managing interfaces, risk and change.
• Mentor and develop junior designers and design managers, contributing to bid leadership and business growth.
