Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for our Rail sector in the United Kingdom. You will lead multi-disciplinary design projects, manage stakeholders and client relationships, and guide teams from optioning to construction across diverse rail schemes.

You will oversee scopes, schedules and budgets, ensuring deliverables meet safety and quality standards while collaborating with Network Rail, TfL and TOCs. A track record in NEC contracts and MAPM aspirations is preferred.

Qualifications

• A degree in a related discipline.
• Experience working in an Engineering Consulting business and with Network Rail / TfL approval processes.
• Proven knowledge delivering Station and Depot schemes; NEC contract administration experience; MAPM consideration.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-disciplinary design projects from optioneering through outline & detailed design to construction.
• Independently carry out Project Management tasks and provide guidance to junior staff.
• Lead in-house and external teams in design, assessment and maintenance of projects.
• Develop and agree scopes and manage internal technical supply chain, including contracts, budgets, programmes and deliverables.
• Deliver internal and external survey works.
• Lead bids and tenders, win work and develop client relationships.
• Provide mentorship and support colleagues' development aspirations.
