Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Rail to join a multidisciplinary team. Based in Glasgow, Manchester or York, you will lead delivery of rail projects and bids across the UK, coordinating design teams throughout the lifecycle and building trusted client relationships.

You will manage engineering activities, budgets, scope and quality, while mentoring colleagues and sharing best practices. The role offers ongoing development through internal and external learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing multidisciplinary rail or complex infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record leading projects and multidisciplinary teams with clients and partners.
• Strong knowledge of rail industry areas and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of technically excellent rail projects and bids.
• Manage engineering/design activities, interfaces, programmes, budgets and quality.
• Coordinate communication between clients, teams, subcontractors and partners.
• Own delivery plans and oversee projects to completion.
