Mott MacDonald is seeking an experienced Principal Design Manager to join our Rail Stations and Civil Engineering team in the UK. You will lead the design, integration and delivery of major rail improvement projects, shaping a growing local rail civil engineering capability within our UK-wide team.

You will mentor early career professionals, build strong client relationships, and ensure technical excellence across multi-disciplinary designs while supporting business development and project

Qualificações

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or IEng with ICE or equivalent professional institution.
• Extensive experience within the UK rail sector with multi-disciplinary rail projects and governance.
• Proven experience leading technical delivery on complex rail infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication, leadership and influencing skills.
• Experience mentoring engineers and supporting the development of technical teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical delivery of rail civil projects across the UK with integrated designs.
• Coordinate input from multi-disciplinary rail engineers across our teams.
• Deliver safe, practical and sustainable engineering solutions meeting client outcomes.
• Be a focal point for clients for technical delivery of projects.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders and partners.
• Collaborate with BD teams to identify new opportunities.
• Support project managers to achieve programme, budget and quality objectives.
• Identify and mitigate project risks for right-first-time delivery.
• Mentor Early Career Professionals and other team members.
• Promote technical excellence and knowledge sharing across the team.
