Job summary

Anderselite in East Manchester is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the water sector on major projects. You will oversee commercial management, cost control, and contractual compliance across project stages.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will manage quantities for work packages, liaise with design and construction teams, and ensure timely payment applications and forecasts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience in utilities, civil engineering, or MEICA sectors.
• Experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
• Strong quantity surveying and commercial management of projects and work packages.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with design, construction, and supply chain teams to capture and control costs.
• Collaborate with clients to manage main contracts and oversee subcontractor performance.
• Prepare and agree payment applications, cost/value reports, budgets, and forecasts.

Summary

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier 1 design and build contractor's Commercial team based in East Manchester. Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you will take full responsibility for the commercial management of projects, ensuring effective cost control and contractual compliance throughout all project stages. Your role will involve managing quantity surveying duties for projects and work packages

Duties Include

• Liaising with design, construction, and supply chain teams to capture, analyse, and control costs.
• Collaborate closely with clients to meet business requirements and manage main contracts, including issuing subcontract documentation and overseeing subcontractor performance.
• Preparation and agreement of payment applications, project cost/value reports, budgets, and forecasts.
