Job summary

Senior Quantity Surveyor – Water Sector based in East Manchester is sought to join a Tier 1 design and build contractor's Commercial team. You will take full responsibility for commercial management, cost control and contractual compliance across all project stages.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will manage quantity surveying duties for projects and work packages, liaising with design, construction and supply chain teams, and ensuring payment applications, cost/value reports, budgets

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in utilities, civil engineering, or MEICA sectors.
• NEC3/NEC4 contract experience.
• Quantity surveying and commercial management of projects and work packages.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with design, construction, and supply chain teams to capture, analyse, and control costs.
• Collaborate closely with clients to meet business requirements and manage main contracts, including issuing subcontract documentation and overseeing subcontractor performance.
• Preparation and agreement of payment applications, project cost/value reports, budgets, and forecasts.
