Job summary

Glanua is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor for wastewater treatment projects. You will head the commercial team, oversee tendering to final account, assess risk, and protect business performance. Strong client liaison and leadership are essential.

Role requires extensive experience in civil engineering contracts, robust financial oversight, and the ability to drive value across complex programmes. UK-based, on-site with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Honours Degree in Construction / Quantity Surveying.
• Chartered Surveyor preferable.
• Competent understanding of contracts such as FIDIC/NEC/JCT.
• Experience leading final accounts and dispute resolution desirable.
• Strong MS Office proficiency and driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial oversight of multiple programmes and projects.
• Develop and implement project-specific commercial strategies.
• Negotiate and manage all contracts to mitigate risk and maximise opportunities.
• Review contracts with stakeholders to identify risks or gaps.
• Manage cashflow and interim payments with project delivery teams.
