Job summary

Glanua is recruiting a Managing Quantity Surveyor (Wastewater Treatment) to join the senior commercial team. You will oversee tender to final account processes, assess risk, recover entitlements and protect business performance, reporting to the UK Managing QS.

You will lead contract strategies, control cashflow, manage stakeholder relations, and mentor teams while upholding safety and sustainability standards across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably civil engineering.
• Honours degree in Construction/Quantity Surveying; Chartered status preferred.
• Experience with contract forms (FIDIC/NEC/JCT) and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial aspects of multiple programmes and projects as part of a senior team.
• Develop and implement project-specific commercial strategies and contracts.
• Lead final accounts discussions and manage contractual entitlements.
• Monitor cashflow, payments and financial reporting with stakeholders.
• Maintain health, safety, environmental and sustainability standards.
• Mentor staff and promote collaboration across delivery teams.
