Job summary

Morson Edge in Manchester is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team. You will manage the commercial and cost control aspects of complex projects in the water sector, ensuring contractual compliance across all stages.

You will liaise with design, construction and supply chain teams, manage main contracts, issue subcontract documentation and oversee subcontractor performance, forecasts and budgets.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in utilities, civil engineering, or MEICA sectors.
• NEC3/NEC4 contract experience.
• Quantity surveying and commercial management of projects and work packages.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with design, construction, and supply chain teams to capture, analyse, and control costs.
• Collaborate closely with clients to meet business requirements and manage main contracts, including issuing subcontract documentation and overseeing subcontractor performance.
• Preparation and agreement of payment applications, project cost/value reports, budgets, and forecasts.
