Job summary

RSE is a trusted MEICA engineering business delivering water treatment products across the UK. We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities on projects in Scotland and the North of England within the Water sector.

You will manage contract administration, procurement strategies, cost/value reconciliation, and risk/opportunity management, while leading a team of experienced surveyors to ensure best practice and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• RICS recognised qualification in Surveying, Construction, or Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
• Experience in setting commercial strategies, procurement, cost/value reporting, and claims negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in pre-award activities such as tender reviews and risk/value analysis.
• Lead a portfolio of projects with commercial/contractual administration from tender to completion.
• Prepare and analyze framework-wide commercial reports for internal and client use.
• Track payment status of projects and programmes/frameworks.
• Notify Managing QS of performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Carry out other tasks within the role’s skill set.
