Job summary

RSE is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of water industry projects in Scotland and the North of England. You will lead a team of surveyors, oversee contractual, financial and commercial activities, and ensure best practice across frameworks from pre-award through to completion.

You will manage procurement strategies, cost/value reconciliation and reporting, and help drive NEC contract delivery where applicable. A UK driving licence is required for site and client visits.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-award activities, tender reviews and procurement strategy.
• Experience managing a portfolio of projects with commercial/contractual administration.
• Ability to set and agree commercial strategies and settlement of accounts/claims.
• NEC contracts experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in pre-award activities such as tender reviews, risk/value analysis and procurement strategies.
• Running a portfolio of projects and frameworks with commercial/contractual administration through to completion.
• Preparation and analysis of framework-wide commercial reports for internal and client use.
• Tracking payment status of projects and programmes/frameworks.
• Notify the Managing QS of performance, risks and opportunities.
• Carry out other tasks within the post holder's skill set as required.
