Job summary

Ross-Shire Engineering Limited seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support our Chemical & Wastewater Solutions team across Scotland and the North of England. You will lead commercial activities, guide tender processes, and drive procurement strategies for water industry projects.

You will manage a portfolio of frameworks, supervise a surveyors’ team, and ensure accurate reporting, payment tracking, and risk/opportunity assessment throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• RICS qualification or equivalent and proven Quantity Surveying experience.
• Experience setting and agreeing commercial strategies, procurement, cost/value reconciliation, reporting and claims.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractual, financial and commercial activities across projects and frameworks.
• Lead a team of surveyors to ensure best practices and deliverables are met.
• Manage pre-award activities including tender reviews, risk/value analysis and procurement advice.
• Monitor framework-wide commercial reporting and payment status across projects.
