Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost management across major Scottish Water projects. You will work from early contractor involvement through to handover, ensuring financial viability and compliance while delivering value for clients.

You'll lead cost reporting, manage risk, and mentor junior commercial staff, with travel to sites across the operation region and NEC contract experience essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Experience with NEC Contracts.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee robust cost management across projects from early contractor involvement to handover.
• Prepare and present timely cost reports, forecasts and commercial analyses.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks and drive value for clients.
