Job summary

South West Water Limited, part of Pennon Group, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management of high-volume R&M contracts with NEC frameworks. You will guide a team of QS, manage cost control, and deliver best-value outcomes across contracts valued around £50 million annually.

The role requires MRICS or equivalent, a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, and strong governance, risk, and stakeholder management capabilities; you will influence supply chain partners

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• MRICS or equivalent professional accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial and financial management of operational contracts.
• Administer NEC3 and NEC4 contracts and ensure governance compliance.
• Manage compensation events, variations, valuations and final accounts.
• Oversee cost control and financial reporting for a £50m portfolio.
