Job summary

SSA Recruitment identifies a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Water contractor on a Thames Water framework. You will manage Water Treatment & Pumping Station upgrade projects valued between 5m-35m, under NEC3 contracts, with commercial responsibility and leadership of a small team.

Ideal candidates will have NEC3 experience in civil/utility projects and a stable career history. Strong subcontractor management and client-facing meetings are essential.

Qualifications

• Essential: Qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Demonstrable NEC3 contracts experience within civil engineering, infrastructure or utilities.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial responsibility for schemes on Thames Water framework.
• Lead a small team and oversee works.
• Carry out subcontractor assessments and meetings; lead CVR meetings.
• Oversee monthly reconciliations and final accounts; coordinate with internal, client and stakeholder teams.

SSA are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Water contractor in the delivery of their Thames Water framework, looking after Water Treatment & Pumping Station upgrade projects valed between 5m- 35m.

This framework will be administered using NEC3 contracts and will see the successful Senior QS having commercial responsibility for the scheme; leading a small team, overseeing their works and also having primary involvement in: subcontractor assessments & meetings; leading of CVR meetings; leading internal, client, & stakeholder commercial meetings; monthly reconciliations; & final accounts amongst other duties.

They are looking for someone with a stable career history, with a history of working with NEC3 contracts within the civil engineering, infrastructure, or utility industries.
