Job summary

South West Water Limited in Exeter seeks an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial management of our high‑volume reactive R&M contracts and other operational agreements. You will report to the Senior Commercial Manager and supervise a team of Quantity Surveyors, delivering governance, cost control and value for money across a £50 million annual spend.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline and MRICS accreditation.
• Extensive NEC3/NEC4 contract administration experience.
• Strong financial management, forecasting, and cost control skills.
• Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and financial management of operational contracts.
• Administer NEC3/NEC4 contracts and manage compensation events and variations.
• Forecast, budget, and perform variance analysis across contracts.
