Job summary

Saxton Recruitment is representing a major construction contractor seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities on large Design & Build projects in Toronto. The role targets extensive experience on £25m+ D&B projects with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors and a readiness to relocate to Canada.

The package includes relocation support and a tax-free relocation option. You will manage commercial risk, contractual obligations, and client relations while supporting bid and project

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-scale Design & Build (D&B) projects.
• Experience on projects valued at £25m+.
• Experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors.

Responsibilities

• Review Prime Contract to determine obligations, liabilities and highlight risk.
• Develop risk register and key contractual obligations from Contract review.
• Maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Develop and implement Change Management procedures.
• Analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers.

We are partnering with our client who is one of North America's major construction contractors ($4bn t/o) to appoint Senior Quantity Surveyors to major deliver design and build projects across Toronto.

The Package

• Basic salary of $170K - $190K (£90K - £100K)
• Profit Related Company Bonus ($10K - $30K)

Requirements

• Experience working on large scale projects valued at £25m+
• Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS
• Experience working for Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor
• Willing and able to relocate to Canada

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record working as a Quantity Surveyor on D&B projects (£25m+) for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contactor.
