OCU Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and cost performance of major electrical infrastructure projects, with a focus on substations and 132kV cable installations. The role is based primarily in Wembley, with occasional site presence at the Stafford site and a programme running to 2028.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
• Experience with NEC contracts and managing notices, variations and claims.
• Experience managing subcontractors, procurement and commercial negotiations.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Manage the commercial administration and financial performance of multiple projects, from pre-construction through to final account.
• Support tendering, ECI and feasibility activities, providing commercial input and identifying risks and opportunities.
• Ensure timely and compliant submission of notices, applications for payment, variations and compensation events.
• Negotiate and manage variations, compensation events and claims with substantiation for commercial recovery.
• Lead subcontract procurement, tendering, negotiations, contract administration and final accounts.
• Prepare and maintain cost forecasts, cash flow projections, budgets and cost-to-complete reports.
• Monitor project costs, revenue, WIP, liabilities, contingency and margins with clear reporting.
• Maintain project records and ensure contractual obligations and payments are managed.
• Collaborate with project managers and operations to monitor programme, procurement, design and delivery.
• Lead and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
