Job summary

Rogers McHugh is building its Scotland presence and seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in high-end commercial fit-out and refurbishment. You’ll take commercial ownership of projects in Scotland, working closely with the operational team from early stages to final account.

You’ll join a small, visible team where autonomy is valued and your network in the Scottish market will help shape how the commercial side develops as the workload grows.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as a Quantity Surveyor within fit out and refurbishment.
• Experience across commercial interiors, office fit out or high end fit out would be particularly relevant.
• You’ll understand procurement, subcontractor packages, cost planning, valuations, variations, CVRs and final accounts.
• You’ll be commercially confident, organised and comfortable working with a degree of autonomy.
• As the Scottish operation is still relatively new, you’ll enjoy being part of a small team and be prepared to get involved rather than working within a heavily structured commercial department.

Responsibilities

• Review costs and subcontractor packages before taking responsibility for the commercial management of the work once live.
