Job summary

Rogers McHugh Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead fit-out and refurbishment projects in Scotland. You will join a small, growing team, taking ownership from early stages through to final account.

You'll manage procurement, cost planning, valuations, variations and CVRs, ensuring margins are protected on high-end commercial and office interiors. A £50k–£60k salary, £6k car allowance and annual bonus are on offer.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as a Quantity Surveyor in fit out and refurbishment.
• Experience in commercial interiors and high-end fit out.
• Knowledge of procurement, subcontract packages, cost planning and final accounts.
• Comfortable working with autonomy in a small team.
• Willingness to build relationships in the Scottish market.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial responsibility for fit out and refurbishment projects across Scotland.
• Review costs and subcontractor packages from the early stages.
• Procure subcontractors and suppliers and place orders.
• Manage valuations, variations and CVRs through to final accounts.
• Ensure projects stay commercially on track and shape the Scottish operation.
• Influence how the commercial side develops as workload grows.
• Target around £3 million of work in the first year.
