Places for People is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to own the commercial delivery on live and upcoming residential projects across Norfolk, with potential progression to other sites in Suffolk and Essex. You’ll manage budgets, tendering, valuations, and cost reporting, ensuring value and on-time delivery.

Ideally you’ll have housebuilder or main contractor experience, MRICS is advantageous, and you’ll collaborate with technical and construction teams to drive commercial excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in the construction industry with housebuilder or main contractor exposure.
• Strong cost control, tendering and reporting skills.
• Understanding of build sequencing and trade interaction.

Responsabilités

• Take full commercial responsibility for live and upcoming development sites across the Norfolk area.
• Manage construction costs from budgeting through final accounts.
• Maintain tight cost control and ensure timely delivery at all stages.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors for best value.
