Places for People is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to progress toward a Senior Quantity Surveyor role across residential developments in Kent, Surrey and Sussex. Based at our King’s Cross office in London two days a week, with site visits to development schemes, you will manage commercial aspects from budgets to final accounts.

You will handle cost control, tendering, valuations and reporting, work closely with site, technical and commercial teams, and aim to develop toward Senior QS.

Formación

• Hands-on quantity surveying experience in housebuilding or main contracting.
• Experience across cost control, tendering, valuations and reporting.
• Exposure to residential construction projects and build programmes.
• Ability to work with site, technical and commercial teams to maintain cost control.

Responsabilidades

• Lead commercial management from budgets to final accounts on residential schemes.
• Oversee tendering processes and subcontractor packages.
• Prepare valuations, cost reporting and financial updates.
• Support progression toward a Senior Quantity Surveyor role through increasing responsibility.
