Job summary

Places for People is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take full commercial responsibility for live and upcoming residential developments in the Norfolk region, with plans to extend to Suffolk and Essex.

You will manage costs from budgeting through to final accounts, work with Technical and Construction teams, and build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure best value and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in the construction industry with a housebuilder or main contractor is essential.
• Cost control, tendering and reporting experience.
• Understanding of build sequencing and trade interaction.
• Interest in early-stage cost planning and budgeting for new schemes.

Responsibilities

• Take full commercial responsibility for live and upcoming development sites across the Norfolk area.
• Manage construction costs from initial budgeting through to final accounts.
• Tendering and subcontractor appointments; cost reporting and valuations.
