EA Associates are working with an established high-end residential housebuilder near Norwich who are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team.

The role involves managing the commercial aspects of luxury residential developments, ensuring projects run to budget and high standards, with close collaboration with site and contracts teams. The successful candidate will take ownership of project finances and contribute to value engineering where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial aspects of high-end residential developments.
• Preparing and monitoring project budgets, forecasts and cost reports.
• Procurement of subcontractor packages and materials.
• Managing subcontractor accounts, valuations and payments.
• Identifying and managing variations and commercial risks.
• Undertaking cost analysis and value engineering where appropriate.
• Liaising with Site Managers, Contracts Managers and the wider project team.
• Monitoring project expenditure and ensuring financial targets are achieved.
