Job summary

Randstad Cpe London is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor for the Oxford Station project. The role focuses on procurement, subcontractor management and broad commercial duties across the next phase, with opportunities to mentor juniors and work with delivery teams on site.

The role offers hybrid working in Oxford, with the team mobilising for continued civil engineering and infrastructure work over at least two more years.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in civil engineering, infrastructure or contracting.
• 1–2 years at Senior Quantity Surveyor level.
• Experience managing subcontractor accounts.
• Experience with NEC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Procure subcontractors and supply chain packages for the next phase of the project.
• Manage subcontractor accounts from procurement to final account.
• Undertake forecasting and provide accurate commercial reporting.
• Prepare interim valuations, monthly applications for payment and final accounts.
• Lead cost control activities with the project team.
• Manage variations and commercial change throughout the project.
• Maintain project risk and opportunity registers.
• Monitor commercial performance with KPIs and identify risks/opps.
• Collaborate with supply chain for sustainable value.
• Develop relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Support junior QS and other team members when required.
• Ensure commercial processes are followed throughout delivery.
