Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for their Southern Region on a multi‑billion pound rail framework. You’ll manage subcontractor accounts, prepare reports, and track project finances to keep projects efficient and profitable.

You’ll work with Project Managers, Engineers and Commercial staff, produce forecasts, analyse quotations and support monthly financial reviews while identifying cost recovery opportunities and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• NEC experience is essential.
• Experience as Quantity Surveyor or Cost Clerk.
• Subcontract management experience.
• Exposure to large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor accounts and prepare financial reports.
• Track project finances and monitor risk registers.
• Value variations and support monthly financial reviews.
• Produce forecasts and analyse quotations with project teams.
• Support recovery of contract costs and streamline processes.
