Job summary

Bridges - Trusted Intelligent Engineering Partner in the United Kingdom is seeking a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial support to Delivery Teams. You will work with NEC4 contracts, manage deadlines for internal and external reporting, and travel to client sites as required.

The role is based at one of our regional offices (Portsmouth or Maidstone) with a hybrid model (3 days in the office, 2 days at home).

Qualifications

• Experience in QS environment with NEC4 contracts.
• Reading and understanding project scope documents & drawings.
• Competency of MS Excel to advanced level.

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate and finalise awarded contracts to secure a commercially advantageous position.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly reporting for internal/external deadlines.
• Manage project invoicing, reflect on-site progress and entitlements; oversee change control and final accounts.
• Lead agreement of project final accounts with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor project expenditure; review budgets and cost forecasts for value for money.
• Assist with procurement activities including tender evaluations and subcontractor recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with contract obligations, company procedures and governance.
