Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. in Buxton seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to own the commercial management of engineering and industrial projects.

You will lead NEC4 contract administration, change control, CVR reporting and cost forecasting within a diverse portfolio including food, beverage, manufacturing and industrial sectors. The role requires strong NEC4 and contractual knowledge, with experience in planning coordination and subcontract management.

Qualifications

• NEC4 and contractual knowledge are essential.
• Experience in change control, variations and compensation events is required.
• CVR, forecasting and cost control are key responsibilities.
• Subcontract management and collaboration with planning teams are part of the role.
• Experience in food & beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical or automated production environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Managing NEC4 contracts and ensuring contractual processes are followed.
• Managing change control, variations and compensation events.
• Cost control, forecasting and CVR reporting.
• Managing extensions of time and delay mechanisms.
• Managing subcontractor and supplier agreements.
• Reviewing project scope and ensuring changes are recorded and valued correctly.
• Maintaining robust commercial records throughout the project.
• Working closely with the Planner to understand programme impact and associated commercial implications.
• Identifying commercial risks and areas where the business could be exposed; supporting projects through to commercial close-out and final account.
