Job summary

Ipsum is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Commercial team. You will manage the commercial performance of assigned projects and workstreams, ensuring robust governance, forecasting accuracy and strong commercial controls.

You will be the primary commercial contact for your area, supporting operational teams and influencing project outcomes. The role offers ownership of significant commercial activities and the opportunity to develop the wider commercial function.

Qualifications

• Experience with NEC, JCT and/or FIDIC contracts is essential.
• Proven ability to lead CVRs, WIP forecasting and cost-to-complete reviews.
• Strong governance, risk management and commercial controls across projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial performance of assigned projects and workstreams.
• Lead tender pricing, contract reviews and commercial risk management.
• Review tender cashflow forecasts and pricing assumptions.
• Lead CVR reviews and challenging cost-to-complete forecasts.
• Provide commercial insight into management accounts and reforecasting processes.
• Manage and improve subcontractor performance and commercial processes.
• Coach and develop junior commercial colleagues.
• Support continuous improvement and best practice initiatives.
