Job summary

You will forecast profits, produce cost reports, manage contract changes, and support tendering activities. A strong track record in civil engineering contract management is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing Quantity Surveyor role within civil engineering.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge across multiple projects.
• Track record of delivering margins and financial performance.
• Experience leading and mentoring commercial teams.
• Ability to identify, assess and manage commercial risk while maximizing opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the commercial and contractual management of multiple projects.
• Lead and develop project Quantity Surveyors and commercial teams.
• Drive profitable growth by managing risks and opportunities.
• Forecast and deliver project profits and cost control.
• Produce and review commercial reports, forecasts and cost information.
• Manage contractual obligations, notices, changes, and variations.
• Ensure subcontract orders, payments, and procurement follow procedures.
• Support tendering and work-winning activities.
