Job summary

FM Conway is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Major Projects division on a permanent, full-time basis at our Sevenoaks Head Office in Kent. You will drive risk, value management, and cost control across major projects, lead procurement strategies, and oversee the commercial team while ensuring contract compliance and documentation control.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, possess strong knowledge of JCT, ICE and NEC contracts,

Qualifications

Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
Experience in construction, civil engineering or highways.
Excellent knowledge of JCT, ICE and NEC contracts.
CSCS card is essential.

Responsibilities

Perform risk, value management and cost control activities for the contract.
Lead procurement strategy including cost value analysis and procurement of sub-contractors.
Maintain awareness of different contracts in current use and ensure contract documentation control.
Monitor and report forecast against cost and value and manage cashflow.
Oversee and manage the commercial team on relevant contracts.
