Job summary

Hunter Savage is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Magherafelt-based commercial build team. The role offers exposure to £5M+ projects across the UK, working closely with senior management and site teams to drive commercial success.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in a similar main contractor role, with strong knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts, cost reporting, and procurement. Travel weekly or bi-weekly is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role with a main contractor.
• Sound knowledge of commercial construction methods and processes.
• Working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and analysis of project costs and budgets.
• Support the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress, variations, and valuations.
• Prepare tender documents and reports.
• Liaise with site and design teams to ensure commercial control.
• Maintain accurate records for cost reporting and forecasting.
