Job summary

Hunter Savage is seeking an experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to manage a portfolio of construction projects, from £50k to £5M, across NEC3 and JCT frameworks. The successful candidate will mentor junior team members and build strong relationships with site teams.

You will oversee main contracts, sub-contracts, collateral warranties, and collaborate with procurement to support ordering and cost control. A collaborative, team-focused approach and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of NEC3 and JCT contract administration.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial aspects of multiple projects.
• Oversee NEC3 and JCT contracts, sub-contracts, and collateral warranties.
• Collaborate with procurement to support ordering and cost control.
• Maintain strong relationships with site teams and stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop less experienced team members.
• Ensure contractual compliance, accurate reporting and cost control.
