Job summary

Lancer Scott is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to provide senior commercial leadership across allocated projects in the UK. You will control costs, forecast cash flows, review contracts, and support effective project delivery while mentoring Quantity Surveyors and Graduate Quantity Surveyors as allocated.

Qualifications

• Substantial quantity surveying experience in main contracting.
• Strong contractual and commercial knowledge covering payments and notices.
• Experience with cost management, forecasting and CVR reporting.
• Experience on medium to large-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial responsibility for allocated projects with robust cost control.
• Review contracts, employer's requirements and project information; maintain notices.
• Prepare budgets, CVRs, cash-flow forecasts and monthly reports.
• Prepare applications for payment, variations and entitlement claims.
• Manage subcontract procurement, valuations and final accounts.
• Lead project handover and mentor junior surveyors.
• Collaborate with operations, design and project teams on risks and programme.
