Hill McGlynn Recruitment is assisting an established construction consultancy in Faversham, Kent to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior Cost Consultant. The role offers a hybrid working pattern, a 37.5-hour week and flexible start times, with the successful candidate managing a varied portfolio and supporting junior surveyors.

You will provide cost management from feasibility to final account, develop client relationships, mentor graduates, and apply strong commercial and analytical

Qualifications

• Experience in Quantity Surveying or Cost Consultancy.
• Strong cost planning and commercial risk knowledge.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for QS and cost consultancy across multiple projects.
• Manage feasibility through to final account and budgets.
• Prepare cost plans, tender documentation and tender reports.
• Mentor Graduate/Assistant Surveyors and review their work.
• Lead client, design team and project meetings and manage relationships.
