Job summary

Altura Search in London is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead projects across residential, commercial, healthcare and industrial sectors, delivering cost planning, procurement advice and final accounts with hands-on project delivery.

You will mentor junior surveyors, build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor through the project lifecycle, with MRICS status encouraged and hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home).

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a construction consultancy.
• Ability to manage workload and client relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness and communication skills.
• Experience delivering projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a range of projects from early cost advice through final accounts.
• Lead and mentor junior surveyors within the team.
• Produce cost plans, budgets and procurement advice.
• Prepare tender documents and manage tender processes.
• Administer contracts and provide commercial advice during construction.
• Manage project costs, change control and final accounts.
• Build long-term client relationships and be the trusted contact.
• Support business growth through excellent client service.
