Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in the field.
• Basic construction and property law knowledge required.
• Familiarity with standard forms of contract including JCT suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead on cost consultancy and employer’s agents roles.
• Prepare/manage cost estimates throughout project life cycle.
• Ensure compliance with appointment and record changes.
• Chair meetings and produce diligent Meeting Minutes.
• Assist in the development of the in-house cost database.

Skills

Detailed knowledge of building contracts

Report writing in English

Proficiency in office software (MS Excel)

Ability to supervise junior staff

Education

Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
