Job summary

Cumming Group is an international project and cost management consultancy delivering innovative solutions in construction, real estate and infrastructure. A senior professional is required to lead day-to-day project delivery, ensuring high-quality outputs and timely performance.

The role covers budget estimates, cost plans, risk/value management, contract administration and leadership of project teams and supply chain. MRICS is preferred; strong communication and stakeholder skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Ideally degree qualified in construction, cost management, engineering or QS with RICS accreditation.
• MRICS / equivalent qualification or demonstrable experience.
• Leadership development training is desirable.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in cost management and contracts.
• Strong knowledge of construction industry technical matters and contract forms (JCT/NEC).
• Excellent oral and written communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid IT skills: MS Office suite and project cost tools.

Responsibilities

• Assume day-to-day delivery responsibility for projects.
• Strengthen service delivery capability and promote knowledge sharing.
• Prepare budget estimates, cost plans and client reports.
• Provide risk and value management.
• Contract administration including valuations, forecasts and cost reports.
• Prepare bills of quantities, schedules of rates, or other methods of work evaluation.
• Deliver outputs accurately and on time to a high standard.
• Manage delivery through performance management of personnel.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Quality Assurance policies.
• Support bid and tender preparation and business development.
• Develop the business; network and build client relationships.
• Mentor and coach team members to support growth.
