Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a skilled cost management professional to join our UK & Europe operations in Chesterfield. You will support cost planning, budgeting, and reporting for a varied project portfolio, with responsibility for client-facing interactions and delivery governance.

You will work within a collaborative team, applying best practice in contracts and value management while developing leadership capabilities and expanding our client relationships across sectors.

Qualifications

• Ideally degree qualified in construction, cost management, or engineering.
• Working towards MRICS or equivalent qualification.
• 4+ years’ experience in real estate or construction sectors.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts is desirable.
• Good IT skills with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for day-to-day delivery on small to medium projects.
• Assist in cost planning, budgeting and reporting.
• Support risk and value management activities.
• Prepare tender evaluations and contract documentation.
• Lead, motivate and manage project teams and supply chain.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of outputs.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations.
