Job summary

MCR Property Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to drive commercial delivery on allocated schemes. You will oversee procurement, cost reporting, and financial controls from inception through final account, interfacing with Project Managers and the Commercial Team.

The role combines office-based responsibilities with site visits across projects in the Midlands. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role within development, main contractor, or subcontractor

Qualifications

Minimum of three years' experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor across varied project types and values.
Experience within a developer, main contractor, or subcontractor environment.
Experience across pre- and post-contract stages: cost plans and estimates, measurement for bills of quantities, tendering and procurement, value engineering, tender reporting, interim valuations, and final accounts.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly cost reporting and financial forecasting for assigned schemes.
Manage contract and subcontract packages and variations.
Collaborate with Project Managers and Commercial Team to drive commercial strategy and financial control.
Role is primarily office-based with regular site visits for meetings, valuations and reviews.
