Job summary

MCR Property Group is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to drive commercial delivery on a portfolio of developments. You will manage procurement, cost reporting, and post-contract activities from inception through final account.

You will interact with project managers and the commercial team, delivering accurate forecasts and strategic financial control. Regular site visits accompany an office-based role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor across various project types.
• Experience with pre- and post-contract stages in developer, main contractor or subcontractor environments.
• Experience in cost plans, estimates, measurement for bills of quantities, tendering and procurement, value engineering, tender reporting, interim valuations and final accounts.
• Broad knowledge of construction processes, procedures and best practice; solid understanding of materials and systems.
• Full, clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly cost reporting and financial forecasting.
• Manage contract and subcontract packages, and the handling of variations.
• Work closely with Project Managers and the Commercial Team to support delivery and reporting.
• Contribute to the commercial strategy and financial control across projects.
• Office-based role with regular site visits for meetings, valuations and reviews.
