MCR Property Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Midlands team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for ensuring schemes are procured efficiently and delivered within budgets and programmes, with hands-on commercial expertise from inception through to final account.

Reporting to the Construction Director and Commercial Director, you will handle monthly cost reporting, forecasting, contracts, variations, and value engineering, working with Project Managers and our

Competenze

Minimum of three years’ experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor across a range of project types and values.
Experience within a developer, main contractor, or subcontractor environment.
Confident operating across pre- and post‑contract stages.
Preparing cost plans and estimates, measurement for bills of quantities, tendering and procurement, value engineering, tender reporting, interim valuations, and final accounts.
Solid knowledge of construction processes, materials, and systems; fully computer literate.

Procure schemes efficiently within budgets and programmes.
Own monthly cost reporting and financial forecasting.
Manage contract and subcontract packages, variations, and final accounts.
Collaborate with Project Managers and Commercial Team to drive commercial strategy and financial control.
Travel to sites for meetings, valuations, and project reviews as required.
