Job summary

MCR Property Group, a national real estate investor and developer, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Midlands team. You will manage cost reporting, forecasting, and contract packages across multiple projects, ensuring value and budgets are maintained while supporting the delivery program.

The role is office-based with regular site visits; you will collaborate with Project Managers and other surveyors, prepare bills of quantities, tender documents, and final accounts, and drive

Qualifications

• Three years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor across varied project types.
• Experience with pre- and post-contract activities in development, main contractor or subcontractor environments.
• Strong understanding of cost plans, estimates and Bills of Quantities; tendering and procurement experience.
• Solid knowledge of building materials, techniques and systems; good interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly cost reporting and financial forecasting for assigned projects.
• Manage contract and subcontract packages and variations to protect budgets.
• Prepare cost plans, estimates, and Bills of Quantities; support tendering and procurement.
• Conduct interim valuations and final accounts; coordinate with project managers and surveyors.
• Liaise with stakeholders; provide commercially sound solutions and risk management.
• Travel to site meetings and project reviews as required.
