AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our North East Cost and Commercial Practice. You will work with delivery teams to manage costs, risks and project controls across education, commercial, defence, industrial and retail sectors, primarily in the North East and the wider UK.

As a senior member, you will lead cost management efforts, collaborate with clients and internal teams, and guide junior staff while supporting procurement, contract administration and value

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Chartered membership with RICS preferred.
• Experience with pre and post contract QS duties is essential.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with client teams and leadership to maintain relationships.
• Estimate, monitor and control costs pre- and post-contract to keep within budget.
• Provide regular financial reporting and risk updates to clients.
• Undertake procurement activities or support the procurement team in contractor appraisals.
• Administer contracts and manage variations and change control with project managers.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks; assist value engineering for project performance.
• Support and mentor junior QS staff in delivery of services.
