Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Leeds seeks Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors to deliver high‑quality commercial and cost control services across residential, education, commercial, and other sectors in Yorkshire and beyond.

The role emphasizes pre and post contract quantity surveying, collaboration with leadership, and strong cost management. A UK driving license and willingness to travel support project delivery.

Qualifications

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar is required.
• Chartered member of the RICS or working towards chartership by end of next year.
• Experience with pre and post contract quantity surveying duties.
• Experience with JCT and NEC contracts.
• Beneficial to have Employer's Agent experience and traditional QS discipline.
• Valid UK driving license and ability to travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client team and leadership to maintain relationships.
• Estimate, monitor and control project costs pre and post contract.
• Provide regular financial reports and risk updates to clients.
• Undertake procurement or support procurement for contractors.
• Administer various contract types and manage changes.
• Act as employer's representative, coordinating project lifecycle and communications.
• Identify, analyze and mitigate commercial risks; assist value engineering.
• Support and manage junior staff in delivery of quantity surveying services.
