Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK Limited seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial and cost management on major infrastructure programmes in the UK. You will provide expert advice to clients, lead teams of surveyors and drive best practice while supporting junior colleagues.

The role covers cost planning across the full project lifecycle, governance, reporting, benchmarking, and development of tools and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in commercial management on large capital infrastructure programmes.
• Ability to lead teams and manage stakeholders at all levels, including senior client interfaces.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost planning and estimation across the full project lifecycle, providing robust, assurance-ready outputs.
• Oversee and review estimates and budgets, ensuring consistency, accuracy and alignment with client objectives.
• Manage and mentor junior team members, supporting capability development and quality of outputs.
• Provide commercial leadership on projects, including governance, reporting and decision-making support.
